Professional Fishing Guide Since 1990
Abous Us
Mark Glassmaker began his guiding career in 1990 with the Great Alaska Fish Camp based in Sterling, Alaska. At just 19 years old and still attending college, he spent two summers guiding for Great Alaska before moving on to a more specialized operation, Alaska Pacific Fishing Adventures, located on the lower Kenai River. After a couple of seasons with them, Mark took the leap to independence—purchasing his own equipment, acquiring property along the Kenai, and establishing his own company: Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker. Mark was married his wife Cindy soon thereafter and they made Alaska their home. Over the decades, Mark , along with the many talented guides who have worked alongside him, have spent countless hours pursuing the world-class fishing opportunities the Kenai provides.
Now, 34 years later, that same legacy of dedication, attention to detail, and passion for the best fishing experiences continues to thrive. We are grateful to still be chasing our dream—and to make a living doing something we truly love. Mark and his wife Cindy have been married for 28 years and have three daughters, Faith, Caleigh and Emma. Faith and Caleigh are adults and Emma is a senior in high school.
Experience You Can Trust
